The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today in Belgrade that peace and preservation of freedom are key words for the Serbian people, emphasizing the need to approach goals assertively and not allow others to impose them.

The President Dodik highlighted that under the leadership of the President Aleksandar Vučić, Serbia has freed itself from the tutelage of foreign embassies that had been managing Serbia’s political life.

“Today, Serbia is respected and can support Serbs wherever they may be. Vučić has made great efforts and ensured that our voice is heard even at the UN General Assembly, where major powers often treated small states with disregard”, said the President Dodik addressing the attendees in Belgrade at the central manifestation marking the All-Serbian Assembly ”One Nation, One Assembly - Serbia and Republic of Srpska”.

The President Dodik mentioned that the President Vučić has animated a significant part of the world’s population whose representatives did not vote for the shameful resolution at the UN, expressing gratitude to the President of Serbia.

“109 countries against 84. That’s not a majority. Without Serbia awakening on this issue, today our unborn children would have been labeled as a genocidal people. Those who committed genocide against us would have whitewashed their biography. The Germans were shamefully behind that resolution”, emphasized the President Dodik.

The President Dodik added that tough times and decisions lie ahead for Serbs, but few nations in the Balkans can create their own path in cooperation with others.

“We are gathering today not to display a negative attitude. Everyone who lives with us in peace and freedom should be with us, respecting Serbian victims and acknowledging that we are a free people capable of preserving freedom together”, the President Dodik emphasized.

The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that it hasn’t always been easy to explain the problems and challenges faced by the Republic of Srpska to Serbia, but today there is understanding in Belgrade.

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik announced today the possibility of seeking rapid support for the status of the Republic of Srpska, because it is impossible to live with those who have attempted to impose genocide on the Serbian people.

The President Dodik highlighted this possibility alongside the understanding that the Republic of Srpska receives from the President and state of Serbia.

“It’s impossible for us to live with those who cowardly and maliciously, falsely and secretly tried to impose genocide as a permanent feature of the people which is not that. We will do all of this peacefully, we have ways, we know we can”, the President Dodik emphasized in his address at the Republic Square in Belgrade.

The President Dodik added that the Republic of Srpska looks up to Serbia, as well as to the Serbian people wherever they live.

The President Dodik noted that today it was reaffirmed that Kosovo and Metohija is an inseparable part of Serbia, but are also an inseparable part of the Republic of Srpska.

“We have built our national pride and identity on this”, emphasized the President Dodik.

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik emphasized at the central manifestation “One Nation, One Assembly - Serbia and Republic of Srpska” that the only alternative for the Serbian people is one tied to state and national interests.

“We have never been Bosnian Serbs, we have been ashamed when they called us that, we are Serbs”, the President Dodik said.

The President of the Republic emphasized that the key word for the Serbian people is freedom, that the fight for freedom meant suffering.

“Serbs have never hesitated and have never been selfish, instead they have given that freedom to other peoples, including those who at the end of the last century tried to make Serbs a disruptive people”, emphasized the President Milorad Dodik.

The President of the Republic of Srpska mentioned that the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić stood up to lead the people during the difficult years of recovery and stabilization of the Serbian state.

“A stronger Serbia is our pride”, emphasized the President Dodik.

The President Milorad Dodik mentioned that earlier today, a historical declaration was adopted which clearly analyzes the situation of the Serbian people and should be a guide for action in the future.

The central marking of the manifestation “One Nation, One Assembly - Serbia and Republic of Srpska” took place at the Republic Square in Belgrade.
