The Republic holidays are marked by displaying the flag of the Republic of Srpska on all public institutions, and the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and Republic bodies, bodies of local self-government units, companies and other organizations do not work.

Working holidays are marked by celebrations and special ceremonies, but these holidays are not non-working. On Sava’s Day, the Government of the Republic of Srpska organizes the Saint Sava Academy.
