The newly elected President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, took over the duties of the former President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, in a ceremony held today in Banja Luka.
The handover took place after the newly elected President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the newly elected Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, had previously taken a solemn oath at the constitutive session of the 11th convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
The President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, the newly elected Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, also took the religious part of the oath in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka. The religious part of the oath was also taken by the majority of the deputies of the National Assembly.
