The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today at the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On this occasion, the President Dodik stated that he discussed with President Erdoğan about economic cooperation and the realization of previously initiated projects in the Republic of Srpska.
“We talked about various projects in Srpska, especially about the construction of highways, which was a key discussion with the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is very interested in advancing the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.
The President emphasized that this was a very complex and substantive day, which began with a series of meetings with specific entrepreneurs.
The President Dodik believes that there is a good solution here, and now it remains to complete certain procedures.
“The conditions offered here for this are very acceptable to us, and the procedure will have to be completed in the shortest possible period to start implementation. I also discussed with the President Erdoğan certain elements of agricultural cooperation and the political situation. What is important for us is that we can work on road sections in Srpska without waiting for the Federation. We have a good agreement on this implementation”, the President Dodik emphasized.
Regarding the political situation, the President of the Republic mentioned that he discussed with the President Erdoğan about BiH, where he noted that only a Constitutional BiH, highly decentralized, is acceptable for the Republic of Srpska.
“To respect international agreements and to cease international intervention”, the President Dodik concluded.
