On the occasion of marking the Day of the Republic of Srpska, a ceremonial parade was held in Banja Luka.
The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, said that she was proud of everyone who came to Krajina Square to show that they were all the Republic of Srpska and that they would never give up on being that.
The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that the Day of the Republic was a great holiday, because 30 years of existence of Srpska were celebrated.
“These are our first 30 years. We have always gathered on January 9 to show our commitment to live in peace, to build Srpska, to be better every year, more beautiful, more advanced every year and that every year we could measure the successes we achieved in the previous period”, said the President Cvijanovic.
The President of the Republic pointed out that it had been never easy in that regard.
“But we are all united around the goal of making it better for us in the future to overcome all obstacles and problems together. I am sure that we can do that and I believe deeply in Srpska, its people and institutions. My heart is pounding when I see how many of our people have gathered here”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic of Srpska congratulated the Day of the Republic to all citizens, but also to members of the MoI of Srpska.
“Long live our Republic of Srpska”, the President Cvijanović emphasized.
