The current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and bilateral relations and cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States were discussed at the meeting.
The members of the Presidency of BiH thanked the Government of the United States of America for its continuous support and assistance on the reform path of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They welcomed the numerous projects implemented by the US Government through USAID to provide assistance to all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Administrator Power emphasized the strong commitment and support of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina in combating corruption, advancing democratic reforms and the rule of law, and creating new economic opportunities for citizens of BiH.
She reiterated the partnership role of the United States and the continuation of long-term cooperation in building a prosperous future in a functional Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting was attended by the US Ambassador to BiH H.E. Mr. Eric Nelson, Acting Assistant Administrator in USAID’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia Margot Ellis and USAID Mission Director Courtney Chubb.
