The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, have met today in Novi Grad with the leadership of the municipality.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that institutions of Srpska were with the municipality of Novi Grad and that they would support all projects important for citizens of this local community, and that 12 projects important for Novi Grad were discussed at the meeting.
The President Cvijanović thanked the mayor Miroslav Drljača and his associates for their commitment to improving living conditions in this local community and good cooperation with the institutions of the Republic of Srpska.
“Today, we have discussed the concretization of several projects that were ready and that would be realized very soon. What students, teachers and parents expect is the provision of money for carpentry in the elementary school “Vuk Karadžić”. This will soon be approved by the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and after that it will be financed”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that she hoped that the adaptation would be done during the summer break.
“We have agreed on financing the expansion of the capacity of the Kindergarten “Pčelica Maja”, mostly from the Office, and to a lesser extent from the municipal budget”, said the President Cvijanovic.
The President of Srpska reminded that the municipality of Novi Grad entered the public investment program of the Government of the Republic of Srpska with a project worth 700,000 KM for the pedestrian zone and the reconstruction of a part of the road.
“The rehabilitation of roads in rural areas is expressed as a need and support of institutions of the Republic is expected in that part”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that a project was underway in Novi Grad to build a square within the complex at the place of the central memorial to the fallen soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Srpska, which also required the support of the Republic of Srpska institutions.
After the meeting, the President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Zoran Tegeltija, visited two foster families in the settlement of Mlakve with the representatives of the municipality.
