The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, and the Serb Member of the Presidency of BiH have attended today the ceremonial academy on the occasion of 47 years of work and existence of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka.
The President of the Republic of Srpska praised the Faculty of Economics for fulfilling its mission and successfully educating many generations, and hence its students were recognised in society.
The President of Srpska stated that the Faculty of Economics was an important element of the higher education system and congratulated the management, teaching staff and students on this jubilee.
The President of the Republic stated that it was praiseworthy that they had not given up on the key goals, which was the mission of this faculty, emphasizing that this institution enjoyed a great reputation.
The President Cvijanović said that she was pleased for the Government continuously supported educational institutions, as well as institutions in the field of higher education, reminding that there were various interventions to continue or to create better working conditions.
The President of the Republic of Srpska announced that this would be continued in the next period after the energy efficiency project, and she added that it was planned this year to invest certain funds in equipping the space that would be at the service of teachers and students.
“I am happy with the fact that people worked here with enthusiasm. We came to support the management of the faculty, the teaching staff and students and to say that we would all together – the Government, institutions and our higher education institutions, through close cooperation, record better results and have better working conditions”, said the President of the Republic.
