The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović has chaired today, in the Palace of the Republic, the first session of the Organizing Committee for Commemoration of the Victims of the Crime – Genocide of the Independent State of Croatia / NDH / in the Jasenovac Concentration Camp and its Largest Execution Site Donja Gradina.
At the session, the President and Vice-President of the Organizing Committee were elected and the members of the Executive Board were appointed. Also, the framework program of the memorial service and commemoration of the victims of genocide were determined.
According to the program, the central event commemorating the memorial service and victims of the Ustasha crime-genocide in the Jasenovac concentration camp and its largest execution site Donja Gradina will be held on May 1, 2022, and the day before, on April 30, 2022, the Spiritual Academy dedicated to all Jasenovac victims will be held in Kozarska Dubica.
The Organizing Committee invites all citizens of the Republic of Srpska to attend the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Ustasha Crime-Genocide from the Second World War in Donja Gradina.
