The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, has attended today the conference “Know How” in Banja Luka, organized by the Association of Young Economists (UMEK).
The President of the Republic of Srpska stressed that the Association of Young Economists of the Republic of Srpska was committed to the promotion of domestic production and entrepreneurship, which was in the interest of the Government and institutions of the Republic.
The President of Srpska pointed out that it was important to give every kind of additional enthusiasm, energy and encouragement to what local businessmen were doing in such difficult economic times.
The President of the Republic expressed satisfaction with the record number of employees, as well as the cooperation of representatives of the non-governmental sector and institutions of Srpska in finding the best solutions to the current crisis imposed by the conflict in Ukraine, which had negative economic and other effects worldwide.
The President of the Republic of Srpska added that measures of the Government of the Republic of Srpska were extremely important, including increasing personal income of people so that they could cope with the problems of rising prices and inflation.
“This is a great crisis that we did not cause, but as before, we must go through it together”. In that sense, I thank the business community that works with the Government, social partners and all associations that strive to contribute, exchange opinions, experiences and knowledge. Cooperation is very important because we have had good results every time so far and we have managed to find appropriate measures and solutions for the crises that were happening, including the pandemic crisis”, said the President Cvijanović.
