The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović has met today in Kneževo with the leadership of the municipality.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the implementation of important projects for this municipality would be continued, and that a model that would no longer burden the municipal budget would be found, in connection with the previously taken loan from the Republic of Srpska Investment-Development Bank.
The President Cvijanović said that the intention was to strengthen this municipality financially thus it could solve infrastructure and other priorities on its own.
“This will be done by reaching a different credit arrangement with the intention of removing the amounts of the installments or extending the deadlines in that respect, which will make it easier to organize and finance municipal life”, it was pointed out by the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska stated that the rehabilitation of the large sports hall would be continued and added that 200.000 KM had already been provided.
The President Cvijanović stated that funds had been allocated from the budget of the President of the Republic of Srpska last year for the construction of a kindergarten, and added that additional money would be set aside for the exterior arrangement of this preschool institution and the construction of a playground for children.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the Government of the Republic of Srpska had already approved 300.000 KM for the local road infrastructure.
“All that we are doing together with the municipality will contribute to solving the essential problems of the population of Kneževo. I am grateful to these people who work hard and try to lead the municipality, cooperating with the authorities of Srpska and nominating certain projects towards the institutions of the Republic. Hence, through the cooperation of local and republic authorities, we are solving the problems in this municipality”, said the President Cvijanović.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Physical Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology, Srebrenka Golić, the Minister of Finance, Zora Vidović, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Boris Pašalić, and Acting Director of the Investment and Development Bank of the Republic of Srpska, Dražen Vrhovac.
