The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, has met today with the Special Envoy for the Western Balkans at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, Arne Sannes Bjørnstad.
The current political situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, internal political processes and other current topics in BiH and the region were discussed at the meeting in the Palace of the Republic.
During the meeting, the President Cvijanović emphasized that the current political crisis in the institutional functioning of BiH could be overcome through talks, as the main method of functioning and work.
The President of the Republic stated that political dialogue and peaceful resolution of open political issues in BiH, in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and the Constitution of BiH, were of key importance.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to BiH, H.E. Mr. Olav Reinertsen.
