The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik has attented the inauguration ceremony of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan today in Ankara, together with the Serb member and the BiH Presidency Chairwoman Željka Cvijanović.

On that occasion, the President of the Republic thanked the President of Turkey for the invitation to the inauguration, congratulated him on his great election victory and emphasized that the Serbian side is satisfied with his approach to an agreement in BiH without imposing a solution from the outside.

“Erdoğan‘s constant indication that an agreement must be reached within BiH, without expecting any solutions from outside, is something that gives us a framework for these possible talks”, said the President Dodik.

The President of Srpska indicated that while he had been in office in the Presidency of BiH, he had contacts with the President Erdoğan, who is a serious president.

“We absolutely agree with his approach regarding the respect of all partners in BiH”, said the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic of Srpska also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, as well as with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.
