The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik has awarded today in Banja Luka the President of the New Serbian Democracy and the Member of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić with the Order of Honor with golden rays for recognized public work and achievements, as well as for his merits in developing and strengthening cooperation and political relations between the Republic of Montenegro and the Republic of Srpska.
The President Dodik stated that the President of the New Serbian Democracy Andrija Mandić is a fighter for the rights of the Serb people in Montenegro and that he therefore deserved the Order of Honor with golden rays for recognized public work and achievements.
“Andrija Mandić is one of the most important people in Montenegro and that is why he deserved to hold this order with dignity”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska emphasized that he supports Andrija Mandić and his political activities in Montenegro.
“I spoke with Mandić as a friend and a longtime comrade for Serb national rights. He is the long-term president of the party that brings together Serbs in Montenegro, where he fights for the rights of his people”, it was added by the President Dodik.
According to the President of Srpska, Andrija Mandić’s political struggle has been going on for decades and that is why he deserved the medal.
“He is one of the most important people in the Serb nation whose activity should be noticed and supported. Everything he did in the past we coordinated in a way by exchanging opinions and with great respect and agreement. That is why he is worthy to hold this order”, said the President of the Republic, who wished Andrija Mandić great success in the upcoming elections in Montenegro.
The President Dodik assessed that the views of Andrija Mandić are not aimed at destroying the territorial sovereignty of Montenegro, but at strengthening the affirmation of Serb national rights.
“I would like to invite people who appreciate this kind of politics to support Andrija Mandić. He has always shown sympathy for Srpska as legal, Dayton and international organization. This is where the decision on awarding the order comes from”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.
