The President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik has attended today in Zalužani the ceremony of marking the Patron Saint’s Day of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska - Saint Michael the Archangel.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the institutions of Srpska would support the Ministry of the Interior and the Police, whose members must do everything to preserve public order and peace.
“May you celebrate the Patron Saint’s Day in peace and progress more and more. You must preserve public order and peace for the benefit of our citizens”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska stated that today several important events for the Serb people have been marked, recalling the entry of the Serb army and the liberation of Banja Luka in the First World War.
“On this day, the Dayton Peace Agreement had been signed, which we accepted and decided to be in the state community called BiH”, said the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic reiterated that, since the signing of this agreement, it had been defiled by the impositions of high representatives, which was unacceptable.
“It is very important that the Republic of Srpska respects the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the existence of its letter is the only acceptable thing. That is the only way BiH can function”, emphasized the President of Srpska.
“The Republic of Srpska is celebrating peace today. Serbia is stable, and this is reflected in the fact that it functions politically and institutionally within the framework of the Constitution”, added the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic reiterated that it was necessary to restore the competences of the Republic of Srpska.
“The Republic of Srpska will show its character in the years to come, with the aim of preserving its constitutional and legal position. It is very important that the Police of Srpska has regained its dignity and that it has been preserved despite numerous attempts to abolish it”, said the President Dodik.
The President of Srpska pointed out that everyone who graduated from the Police Academy gets a job.
“I wish you to remain patriots loyal to our citizens, freedom and peace”, said the President of the Republic.
