Today in Banja Luka, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met with Ambassador Olav Reinertsen of the Kingdom of Norway to BiH.
The President Dodik expressed full commitment of the Republic of Srpska's institutions to internal dialogue, peace preservation, and stability, while consistently respecting the Dayton Agreement and the BiH Constitution.
The President reiterated a clear stance that the Republic of Srpska rejects any actions by Christian Schmidt as High Representative, as he has not been confirmed by the UN Security Council as stipulated by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Addressing the issue of the attempted seizure of property from Srpska, the President Dodik emphasized that this matter is resolved by the Dayton Peace Agreement and that property belongs to the entities.
The President of the Republic of Srpska assessed that the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the Kingdom of Norway has been successful so far and emphasized expectations for further enhancement in the future.
The interlocutors exchanged views on other current political and economic topics in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
