The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Banja Luka with the Director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region Arnaud Gouillon.
At the meeting they discussed the position of Serbs in the region and the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as other current topics in BiH and the region.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic expressed his gratitude to the Director of the Directorate for the overall commitment and humanity he showed towards the Serb people, and supported the initiatives implemented by the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
The interlocutors supported the initiative to regularly hold the Diaspora Forum from next year, organized by the Government of Serbia and Srpska, with the aim of strengthening and improving cooperation in all spheres with the Diaspora.
The President Dodik pointed out that the Diaspora represented an important resource and a great development opportunity for the Republic of Srpska, and that there was room for even greater institutional connection, as well as for the development of economic and business ties.
