The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Antalya with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
“We informed the Minister Sergey Lavrov about the implementation of certain projects that were previously agreed upon, one of which is the construction of the Serbian-Russian temple in Banja Luka. Lavrov is interested in this project, having visited the location where the temple is being built on one occasion. I stated that we expect the first bells of the temple to be consecrated by the end of the year”, emphasized the President Dodik.
The President of Srpska and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation also discussed the overall world situation.
“I believe no one relies anymore on the consistency of the West and America, as the characteristics of their policies are double standards”, stated the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic noted that what is crucial regarding relations between Russia and the West is that the West did not respect the agreement, referring to the Minsk Agreement.
“The Russians have clearly stated that they want to remain in that agreement. When they saw they were deceived, they decided to defend their positions”, said the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic of Srpska emphasized that the meeting also covered economic cooperation, specifically starting a discussion on the construction of a gas pipeline.
“We will have to find a way to resolve this; if it had been implemented earlier, we would have had a greater influx of foreign investments. I think the Bosniaks have caused us great damage in this regard. This serious opportunity was ruined by the Bosniaks and Sarajevo, and this needs to be known”, stated the President Dodik.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic thanked Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov for his visit to Russia, the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and for receiving a decoration.
The President Dodik also met with Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, before the meeting with the head of Russian diplomacy.
Also, the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, greeted Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
