The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today in Kazan with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
After the meeting with the President Minnikhanov, the President Dodik stated that this was their third encounter and that this visit had been more than successful.
“We have a lot to see and we are trying to cooperate in the fields of IT, engineering, agriculture, and other sectors, which are highly developed here. Tatarstan and its capital Kazan host the global-level event, and as far as I know, the BRICS forum will also be held here during this year”, said the President Dodik.
The President noted that Tatarstan is one of the developed republics of the Russian Federation.
“Coming here is coming among friends”, said the President of Srpska, adding that during the collapse of the USSR, the President of Tatarstan maintained unity between Orthodox Christians and Muslims, did not allow conflict, and that is why today they are one of the most developed republics of the Russian Federation.
The President Dodik emphasized their unity and stated that there is no room for different interpretations of current events, even concerning Ukraine.
“What you can hear here is that friends are always welcome. We will follow their example”, emphasized the President of the Republic of Srpska, highlighting that international cooperation is something they are particularly proud of.
