The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković, together with the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik, met today with the delegation of the Chinese company “Power China” (Power China), led by the President of this group Chen Guanfu. During the meeting, the largest Chinese group, operating in 133 countries, expressed interest in the development of business in the Republic of Srpska in the field of transport infrastructure, i.e. the construction of highways, and projects in the field of energy, with special reference to those in the field of solar energy.
The Prime Minister Radovan Višković specified that the Republic of Srpska was developing a project of building two highways (Višegrad - Sarajevo and Bijeljina - Trebinje, via Zvornik), and the first phase of the Banja Luka - Mlinište highway, on the section from Banja Luka to Mrkonjić Grad. President of the “Power China” group, Chen Guangfu, expressed the Chinese company’s interest in participating in the preparation and construction of planned projects in the field of road infrastructure in the Republic of Srpska, emphasizing that they were also interested in developing energy projects.
