The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković, during his stay in Beijing, met and talked with representatives of the company Shandong (Shandong International Economic & Technical).
The Prime Minister Višković and the President of the Shandong company, Qifeng Wang, discussed the construction project of the Banja Luka-Prijedor highway, which is being built by this company in the Republic of Srpska.
During the meeting, the company Shandong was presented, and it was stated that the operating income of this company in 2022 was 36 billion euros, while this trend in the construction sector reached 10.09 billion euros. The representatives of this company pointed out that they have reached an enviable level of development and that they have experience in the construction of highways, and that the Banja Luka - Prijedor highway project is proceeding according to plan, and that they expect the works to be completed within the stipulated time.
On this occasion, the Bijeljina-Sokolac expressway project was discussed, as well as the signing of a memorandum of understanding that would precede these works.
The Prime Minister Višković pointed out that he had the opportunity to meet the representatives of the Shandong company in Banja Luka, and that he was particularly pleased that he had the opportunity to meet the company's president, Qifeng Wang.
The Prime Minister Radovan Višković pointed out that it was in the interest of the Republic of Srpska to complete the Banja Luka-Prijedor highway, and he welcomed the fact that the company Shandong came to the Republic of Srpska working on an important project.
Likewise, the Prime Minister Višković emphasized that the Belt and Road Initiative was very significant and important, and that the Republic of Srpska sees a great chance for development and cooperation within this initiative. Also, this company is present on the market of Serbia and Montenegro.
The President of the Government of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković pointed out that every Chinese company operating in the Republic of Srpska can have an open partner in the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and presented his commitment to cooperation with everyone who sees the Government of Srpska as an equal partner.
