The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has said today at a meeting in Banja Luka with the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska, Boris Pašalić, and the President of the Association of Agricultural Producers – the Dairy of the Republic of Srpska, Vladimir Usorac, that the Government of the Republic of Srpska would allocate additional 7,430,000.00 KM funds from the Compensation Fund of the Republic of Srpska to support the dairy sector.
In addition to the mentioned funds from the Compensation Fund, the dairy farmers will be paid this year 15 premiums instead of the previous 12 premiums that were paid regularly.
We remind that, in addition to this measure, an additional 1,000,000.00 KM has been allocated for the dairy sector this year from the Compensation Fund for the procurement of pregnant high-quality breeding heifers, and that incentive payments were regular.
In addition to the above, dairymen are entitled to incentives from the agricultural budget, such as capital investments, direct support to livestock production and direct support to crop production (regression of diesel fuel, recourse per unit of sown area for wheat and oilseeds), the insurance premium, and other measures provided for in the budget.
