The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has attended today, in the Gomionica monastery, near Banja Luka, the commemoration of Vidovdan - the patron saint’s day of the Army of the Republic of Srpska and the Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment.
During his speech at the celebration, the Prime Minister Višković stated that the heroic Army of the Republic of Srpska during the Defensive-Patriotic War had ensured the existence of the Republic with the aim of protecting the Serb people, who had suffered immensely during previous wars.
The Prime Minister said that in this regard, the existence of the Republic of Srpska was a guarantee that such suffering would not happen again, and that the armies of the Serbs and the Serb people had always defended their hearths.
“As well as freedom, with no pretensions towards others”. And that is why we say that we will defend ourselves again if we are threatened. That is why it is important to preserve the Republic of Srpska”, said the Prime Minister, Radovan Višković.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, paid due respect to all the victims of the Defensive-Patriotic War and congratulated the Republic of Srpska Army on their patron saint’s day, saying long live the Republic of Srpska Army and the Republic of Srpska.
