The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has met today in Banja Luka with representatives of the company “Vinci” (VINCI Airports), led by the Director for USA, Northern and Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, Emmanuel Menanteau.
Possible cooperation through a public-private partnership between the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the company Vinci was discussed at the meeting, and the issue of the concession contract for the development of the airport in Banja Luka.
Also, the company “Vanci” signed concession contracts with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, which relate to the development, investment and arrangement of the airport “Nikola Tesla” in Belgrade, over which it has a concession for the duration of 25 years. According to this model, the company “Vinci” committed to an investment of 700 million euros in this airport, of which 300 million have already been realized.
In addition to concessions related to airports, the company “Vinci” deals with construction, transport, as well as air, rail and road traffic, and is one of the largest European companies.
Through the concession area of its development, the company “Vinci” makes investments in airports, which includes the development of all accompanying airport facilities.
Representatives of this company expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and the Banja Luka airport.
The Director Emmanuel Menanteau presented the way in which Vinci invests in the airports of the Republic of Serbia and others over which it has a concession, as well as the company's way of doing business. Also, the company “Vinci” develops, finances, builds and manages 53 airports in 12 countries of Europe, Asia and the American continent, providing its investment capacities and knowledge in the optimization of operational performance, modernization of infrastructure and management of their ecological transition.
