The President of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, met today with representatives of “Etmaks” d.o.o. Banja Luka and their partners, representatives from companies “Fronius” and “Kjusels”.

An event dedicated to renewable energy sources, the “Balkan Solar Summit”, is currently taking place in Banja Luka, organized by the mentioned companies.

The meeting focused on potential projects in the energy sector, with an emphasis on the solar panel project for the population in the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, emphasized that the mentioned project is of great interest to the Republic of Srpska. He stated that it will receive the support of the Government, but it is necessary to make the project transparent and accessible to every citizen in every part of the Republic of Srpska who expresses interest in this project for electricity production and supply in this manner.  

Additionally, the Prime Minister Višković highlighted that regarding the implementation of such a project, it is important and necessary to ensure technical conditions and to make all information needed by the population transparent, including details such as contracting parties, quantities, pricing, maintenance, and servicing.

The project is of exceptional importance for the citizens of the Republic of Srpska, and everyone should have clear information.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister Višković pointed out the need, alongside secured technical conditions and transparency in contracts and pricing, to conduct a detailed analysis of natural available potentials and characteristics of specific areas in the Republic of Srpska.

Siniša Maksimović, General Director of “Etmaks” company Banja Luka, emphasized that the company aims to invest and develop within its country, using its domestic human resources of engineers. He highlighted that through project implementation, they have demonstrated expertise and knowledge, ensuring recognition in the region.

The Director Maksimović further noted that “Etmaks” has invested significant effort and professional knowledge, alongside partners, in developing this project. He stated that they have a clear goal and vision on how to realize development projects for the benefit of citizens and the Republic of Srpska.

Through collaboration with partners, every part of the project is meticulously analyzed and developed, ensuring that all aspects meet high technical and operational standards when applying solar panels on citizens' facilities, said Maksimović. He announced that the implementation of the project on several facilities will start soon to gain insight into its significance, importance, complexity, benefits, and developmental opportunities it brings. 

It was emphasized that the implementation of such a significant project entails challenges and numerous concrete technical, organizational, and legislative tasks. However, all parties are fully committed to maximizing efforts to ensure that this nationally important project for the Republic of Srpska is implemented in the most efficient and effective manner, satisfying users and the energy sector, as one of the greatest developmental resources in the Republic of Srpska.
