The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, met in Beijing with Song Hailiang, the President of the largest Chinese state-owned energy company “China Energy Engineering Group Co. Ltd. The projects that the Chinese state energy company is implementing in the Republic of Srpska were discussed at the meeting, with an emphasis on the construction of HPP Dabar, as well as the possibility of cooperation on new projects and investments.
The representatives of the company said that the started projects would be completed within the stipulated time, but they emphasized their interest in expanding the cooperation on other projects as well, and expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation with the Republic of Srpska.
The Prime Minister Radovan Višković pointed out that the cooperation so far on the construction of HPP Dabar, the most important development project for the Republic of Srpska, with China Energy Engineering Group Co. Ltd, was at a high level, and that upon completion of this project, the Republic of Srpska and the Chinese state energy company would be proud.

Apart from the energy sector, their business framework covers the development of new technologies in the field of environment and sustainable development.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that he was impressed by everything he saw in the presentation of this company, and that he is proud that such an exceptional company works and operates in the Republic of Srpska on the most important project, the construction of the HPP Dabar.
Possible future projects that would help the development of the energy infrastructure of the Republic of Srpska were also discussed at the meeting.
As pointed out by the Prime Minister Višković, investments in energy infrastructure in the Republic of Srpska, either through investments in new facilities or renovation of existing ones, are necessary to ensure energy security and increase export capacities.
