The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, has pointed out today at the final panel at the “Jahorina Economic Forum” the good cooperation between Srpska and Serbia and condemned the inappropriate behavior of the Bosniak side in power in BiH, saying it was harmful. “All our projects with Serbia are not directed against anyone, but will be of general benefit to all of us in the region”, stressed the Prime Minister of Srpska at the final panel “Regional Cooperation and Economic Development”, which concluded the two-day work of “Jahorina Economic Forum”.
The Prime Minister Radovan Višković emphasized the importance of the construction of the Hydroelectric Power Plant “Buk Bijela” and the gasification of the Republic of Srpska, all in cooperation with Serbia.
According to him, the preparatory works are going according to plan, but he is worried about obstructions and hatred from the federal Sarajevo, which opposes the realization of both projects.
He condemned the banal and inappropriate political behavior of the Bosniak side in power in BiH, which caused enormous damage to the Republic of Srpska, and to BiH as a whole.
The Prime Minister Višković also warned of problems that might arise after Moscow’s decision to stop gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria, which could have a more negative impact on the Federation of BiH than on the Republic of Srpska as a smaller consumer of this natural energy source. He said that the Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić had understanding for many initiatives from the Republic of Srpska, but that he did not have the power to implement many decisions of common interest for everyone in BiH. “Novalić is not the problem, but the Bosniak ministers in the Council of Ministers and their irrational and unreasonable behavior towards everything that comes from the Republic of Srpska and Serbia”, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska pointed out. Participants in this panel, which was also attended by the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović and the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, exchanged their opinions and views on many other social, economic and political issues. At the two-day “Jahorina Economic Forum”, the main topic of 14 panels was “Global Economic Challenges and Opportunities”, while discussions included regional topics such as “Open Balkans”, regional cooperation, as well as strengthening the competitiveness of local communities and local economy. “Jahorina Economic Forum 2022” was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović and with the support of the Government of Srpska and the Council of Ministers, gathering about 550 participants from a dozen European countries.
