The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik has hosted a reception today for the delegation of the golden Olympic generation of handball players from Munich in 1972.
The President of the Republic pointed out that these are people who undoubtedly put their stamp on a success that was great for Banja Luka at that time.
„Banja Luka is the city that has the largest number of the Olympic medal holders, a sports city and is slowly returning to those paths. It is our obligation to support sports activities”, it was highlighted by the President Dodik.
The President of Srpska said that the Republic of Srpska will allocate 800,000 KM for the Handball Club “Borac” from Banja Luka, which is the amount they need to achieve a good ranking in the coming years.
“We want “Borac” to be much stronger, it deserves to be stronger. The name of “Borac” is written in golden letters not only in the history of this city, but also of the European and Yugoslav handball”, said the President of the Republic.
