The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, met today in his office in Banja Luka with Murat Turkoglu, the regional director for Southeast Europe of the company “Azvirt”.
The electrification and modernization of the railway line section Doboj-Tuzla-Zvornik was discussed at the meeting.
It is about a project involving the modernization and electrification of the railway line, which has commitments from the governments of the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of BiH.
“Azvirt” company and its subsidiaries have expressed interest in the modernization and electrification of the Doboj-Tuzla-Zvornik railway line, and technical teams will assess all technical and other specifics of this project in the future period.
Following the proposals from the technical teams, a joint meeting will be arranged where company representatives will discuss with relevant ministries and representatives from the railways of the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
