The interlocutors exchanged views on current global political, economic, and security issues in the context of this year’s Global Baku Forum, whose main theme is “How to Mend a Fractured World”.
The revitalization of diplomacy and dialogue was particularly emphasized, aimed at overcoming the current challenges facing the world.
On this occasion, Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between the two sides, as well as their commitment to further strengthening ties in all areas of mutual interest. It was highlighted that there is enormous potential for enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, and tourism.
During the meeting, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency briefed her interlocutor on current political issues in BiH, emphasizing the detrimental effects of foreign interventionism and the necessity of dialogue among domestic representatives of all constituent peoples.
